Best Places To Eat In Wilmington..Any ideas?

I will start things off in the forum. What is the best Thai restaurant, any restaurant here in Wilmington? My vote is Indochine for Thai.

My vote goes to Yosake on the 2nd floor of the Roudabush building downtown at Front and Dock streets. It really Asian fusion. Little bit sushi, little bit thai and a great Kobi Beef burger.

I think there are lots of great places to eat here in town. Def echo some of the thoughts for great eats here in town.

I recommend:
- Jackson's Big Oak BBQ...they're celebrating their 25th year. Go with the cornbread sticks, you'll thank yourself.
- Dixie Grille...just good food all around.
- Front St, Copper Penny and Fat Tony's downtown. Also throw in Trolley Stop there or on WB for a good, quick lunch.
- South Beach on WB.

I can go on and on, maybe it's because I'm hungry...like going to the grocery store when you haven't eaten, shouldn't do it.

Marc's on Market for special occasions has been far more consistent than Portland Grille and a much more relaxed atmosphere. Not pretentious. For sushi, Genki. For Thai, Indochine, but they probably should update the menu after all of this time. If it ain't broke fix it anyway and make it better.

I know this is probably overdue but I just wanted to add a new fav to my list of Asian restaurants. My daughter and I enjoyed a wonderful dinner yesterday, Thursday, July 23, at Double Happiness. I liked the atmosphere and the food was exceptional. The hot and sour soup was the best I have tasted in some time. We tried the dim sum, steamed variety. I really liked the chilie sauce. The prices were reasonable and the portions satisfying. Try it you'll like it.
