As a long time volunteer of the Cape Fear Chapter of the American Red Cross I can testify that this is the most worth while volunteer activity you can associate yourself with. I started my volunteer career with the American Red Cross back in 1989 in Montclair, NJ. From there I traveled across the country helping people like you and I. I moved to Wilmington in 1995 and started with the Cape Fear Chapter immediately. I have seen the worst of the worst disasters and helped thousands of people and touched their lives as helping them touched mine. I urge any and all of you if possible volunteer your time with the American Red Cross.

The Cape Fear Chapter of the American Red Cross literally saved my life a couple of years ago. I owe them much. I could tell the story long, or short, and I can make it scary, sad, or pretty funny, but the bottom line is, they did it and I know it and my family knows it. I'm in!
