Volunteers are needed to help with feeding, sheltering, bulk distribution of supplies, have a health or mental health background, can drive, have a background in human resources or warehousing. I posted a need for new volunteers to meet the challenge that we recruit 100 new volunteers in the next 100 days. I've only gotten 10 new volunteers and nearly 30 days is gone. I think people must think you have to give lots of time? No, a couple hours a month unless there is a large scale disaster and then, most of us jump in and help where we're needed anyway, right? 100 Volunteers in 100 days
Ok - first weekend, holiday weekend to boot but we have one new prospect according to the recruiting manager! One prospect does not 100 volunteers make! Come on Wilmington, let's recruit these 100 folks and make sure we have the capacity to respond this hurricane season.

100 Volunteer in 100 Days
